Tori Moran and Josh St. Marie
Location: Village Wines
Date: Sat, May 19, 2012 @ 6:30PM - 9:00PM

Tori  Moran and Josh St. Marie ~ wandered into the village, keyboard in hand, ready to sing their hearts out in an impromptu performance for 'the management'.  A 'get to know you' session that we do with all potential performers.

In their VW audition, this very young couple poured their souls into 'Falling Slowly', which melted our three judges in their chairs.  Their voices intertwined in a delicious meloldy in a rendition of the Quest for Camelot's 'Looking Through Your Eyes'.  Of course we booked them on the spot!

This talented duet is only here for 3 more months until they head off to an infamous Boston music college.  We plan to have them back as often as they are willing to come!

Singing in the Snohomish Children’s Choir, they met when they were kids. Later they reconnected in their senior year of high school and since then have quickly become best friends. Starting in January of 2012, they decided to start playing soft vocal/piano music locally. Following their dream of pursing music as a career, they both have been accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston and will be transferring there in the fall.

Extreme vocals, harmoniously mixed into a melodic dance on a background of powerful piano chords  and acoustic guitar riffs.  This, and so much more, is Tori and Josh!

Carly Calbero
Location: Village Wines
Date: Sat, Jun 2, 2012 @ 6:30PM - 9:00PM

Carly rocked the house at Village with incredibly powerful vocals and an engaging stage presence.  Come early and don't miss a minute!

Carly Calbero is a 19 year old musician causing double-takes on the streets of Seattle. While occasionally underestimated, this young Washington native has caught the attention of some big names including; Rolling Stone Magazine, Evening Magazine, and Seattle Met.

Writing not only of love, Calbero is set on breaking the boundaries and stereotypes by writing of the journey in its entirety.

"The goal has always been to reach those who thought they were unreachable."

Paired with "some seriously powerful pipes" (according to Seattle Met's blog), and an acoustic guitar, Carly is constantly working on pushing the limits.

"You can't always believe your eyes... So stay awhile and just listen."

Music of The Side Project
Location: Village Wines
Date: Sat, Jun 9, 2012 @ 6:30PM - 9:00PM

From a Spokane bar to multiple international broadcasts on network television, Suzie Bradford's sultry pop vocals are like a smooth sip of nectar. She's been influenced by such artists as Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan & Aimee Mann, but more often, this Washington-born singer/songwriter draws inspiration from those close to her—a community of fantastic friends and musicians.

In 2003 she joined with guitarist (and now husband) Ben Bradford to start the musical group known as "The Side Project." They quickly began doing what they love best, playing crowd-pleasing adult contemporary music as often as they could. In 2004 they moved from Spokane to Seattle, where they finished their second full-length album, and in 2010, they released their third album, "Wake Up Call." The Side Projects' music also has been played in Starbucks across the country and radio stations around the world.

They're now touring the Northwest and beyond, mixing it up between performances as a duo and adding stand up bassist Adrian Libertini & violinist Titus Munteanu to form a unique and full organic sound that pleases the ear and the heart. A fourth album is in the works, a cover album titled "Cover Up" dedicated to songs that inspire love, laughter and a lifetime of music.

Watch & hear The Side Project's featured track—Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody"—on the hit TV show "So You Think You Can Dance." The song was featured on both the US show and the Canadian show, to international accolades:

The Music of Kelly Shirey
Location: Village Wines
Date: Sat, Jun 23, 2012 @ 6:30PM - 9:00PM

During his last visit Kelly definitely won over the crowd with his impassioned performance.  Back by popular demand, he is here for his encore!

Seasoned artist Kelly Shirey is a talented musician and artist from the greater Seattle area.  Always enamored by visual beauty, Kelly  took to art as soon as he was able to hold a crayon. Throughout his developmental years, he worked a lot with pencil sketches, pastels, and colored pencils. As he progressed in to adolesence he took to writing poetry and prose.  At the age of 13 he got his very first guitar and started to play.  From that point on there was no turning back. Artwork, poetry and music all combined and a passion was ignited.
