Live Music with Rogerio Moura
October 26 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Thursday, repeating until October 26, 2017
“Roger de Moura (Voice, guitar, saxophone) was born in Washington, DC.
Raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he started his passion for music at 4 years old when his dad gave him a wind toy organ.
At 13, he joined the marching band in his middle school playing the alto sax and never stopped playing!
When he was 21, he decided to live the American dream returning to his country of birth with a heart full of musical dreams.
He has performed in several cities on the East coast from Florida to Massachusetts.
About 6 years ago, due to a battle with cancer, he had to stop playing the saxophone for a while, so he decided to learn how to play the guitar so he could keep performing.
With the cancer beaten, Roger fell in love with music again and honed his skills as a guitar player.
About a year ago he moved to Washington and fell in love with the people and the Northwest way of life!
His specializes in performing American and British classic/soft rock. He hopes to see you bobbing your head, tapping your foot and singing along at his shows!”
